I have a vegetable garden in Midwestern Northern Illinois. It is organic, has raised beds, and I am using double digging techniques (actually bastard trenching), along with French Intensive concepts. Aliasgar Thanks for dropping by my blog. regarding the red cellophane, I didn't really do a scientific experiment, I didn't have test plants without the cellophane. So I can't say precisely what was the end effect. However the plants were protected from cold winds and had elevated micro climate temps within the cellophane. At this time my plants are reaching 5 feet in height and other gardeners are sat perhaps 2.5 feet tall. I will definitely do it again next year.
